Hi, I'm Pam, the person behind Creating Space!

Well Pamula, but let's not complicate things - we're friends in this space. I am certified through ACE in Group Fitness, Yoga Alliance RYT 500, and hold a NASM certification in assisted stretching. In addition to teaching Yoga, I travel to nursing homes to teach theme-based chair fitness classes locally on the North side of Indianapolis, IN as well as provide practitioner assisted stretching to clients. I've trained on a reformer, worked for two boxing gyms and a bungee gym, and have taken a handful of barre and cardio kickboxing classes in my exploration of fitness. I also LOVE rock climbing. All this to say - I am passionate about movement.
I believe that our bodies not only need but want to move. The more regularly we move, the better we feel. The challenge each of us has is to find ways to move our body that makes us feel good... that lights a little fire under our asses and ignites some passion and intrinsic motivation to continue moving. If you've found your way here, that might be yoga for you (or perhaps this is just a stop on your journey towards whatever it is, and that's ok too!). Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for some time, Welcome! I'd love to help you move better.

About Me
My purpose in this life is ever-evolving. One thing I know for certain in this world focused on productivity and hustle, is that we could all use a little more space. Space to breathe, space to move, space to think and connect with our inner being. Raise your hand if any of these resonate... If I haven't got your attention yet - what about space to have fun, to play, space to reconnect with inner JOY?!
In the last few years I have been drawn to things that reconnect me with my inner child and spark joy from within. For me, this includes things like art, reading, writing, cooking, moving my body, building deeper connections with loved ones, meeting new friends, and exploring time in nature. For you, joy may spark from things that are entirely different - that's ok!
It is my mission to inspire others to Create more Space to breathe, to move, to play, and to connect.
